Even with all that space, it still feels like one big family.

Children flow between bright play rooms and our cosy courtyard garden, inventing games, making friends and following their curiosity.

And then there’s the best-kept secret… our famous Secret Garden. Hidden at the back, it’s where Forest School magic happens, bug hunts, muddy potions, den building and all kinds of wild adventures.

Right on Front Street, Acomb Nursery offers flexible term-time or full-year care for children aged 0–5 years.

Tucked in the heart of Kirkbymoorside town square, our little nursery is bursting with big adventures! With cosy rooms, a sunny courtyard garden and friendly faces everywhere you turn, it feels just like a home from home.

Whether we’re off to the woods, popping to the local shops or exploring our garden, there’s always something new to discover.

We welcome children aged 0–5, with both full-year and term-time spaces available, ready for giggles, messy hands and curious minds!

Our Helmsley nursery is full of warmth, laughter and that “everyone knows your name” kind of feeling. With big open play rooms, a sunny little garden and plenty of places to explore, every day feels like an adventure.

We’re perfectly placed on Carlton Lane right by the primary school, which means market day wanders, book-hunting trips to the library and friendly waves from familiar faces are all part of nursery life.

We offer term-time, holiday and full-year care for children aged 0–11 years. From tiny explorers to after-school adventurers, everyone belongs here.

Our Hutton-le-Hole Outdoor Nursery is nestled in the breathtaking Ryedale countryside, just a short drive from Kirkbymoorside and Pickering. Set within 3.5 acres of open fields and ancient woodland, it offers children a wild and wonderful place to grow.

Here, education doesn’t happen behind four walls, it happens barefoot in the grass, beneath the trees, and beside crackling campfires. Children climb, build, forage, cook and create as part of everyday life, developing confidence, problem-solving skills and a deep connection to the natural world.

It’s nursery as it should be: hands-on, heart-led, and unapologetically muddy.
