Join Us for Our Little Years Sand Hutton Family Fun Day
We're excited to announce that Little Years Sand Hutton is opening this July, and we'd love local families to come and celebrate with us at our Family Fun Day on 1st August.
More than a nursery open day, our Family Fun Day is a chance for parents, carers and children to experience our brand-new setting together, explore our inspiring learning spaces and discover what makes Little Years different.
As a family-led nursery group, our approach is rooted in the communities we serve. We're proud to be part of the York community, building meaningful local connections and creating real-world learning experiences that help children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.
Our purpose-built Sand Hutton nursery has been designed with the whole family in mind and includes:
Connected playrooms with opportunities for free flow between age groups, helping children build friendships and a true sense of belonging.
A large outdoor garden with direct access to nearby woodland, encouraging exploration and outdoor learning.
A specially designed child-sized working kitchen where children can enjoy hands-on experiences around food and nutrition.
A dedicated workspace for parents to use while their child settles into the day.
Our mixed-age learning approach reflects family life, supporting collaboration, peer learning and emotional wellbeing while helping every child reach their unique potential.
Little Years Sand Hutton offers:
Flexible term-time or full-year childcare
Places for children aged 0-5 years
Opening hours from 7:30am to 6:00pm
